After twenty-five years working as a technical writer, Bart Marshall is finally putting his MFA in creative writing to better use.

His first screenplay, Nothing to Forgive, a fast-paced noir thriller, was a Finalist in the Austin Film Festival, Indie Producer Awards, Write Movies and FilmMakers screenplay competitions.

An early draft of his second screenplay, Siren Song, a complex action drama that calls upon his experience as a Green Beret in the Vietnam war, was a Finalist in the American Screenwriters Association competition.

He is now finishing two other scripts, Playing Small, a basketball drama, and Lucid Games, a sci-fi thriller. He is also working on a series of shorts, such as Slick City, that he plans to produce and direct.

Marshall has also ghostwritten a recently published book, After the Absolute, and is the writer/director of the documentary, Mister Rose.
